Join us in prayer as we meditate on Ephesians 3:16-20 and pray this over City Church:
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us..."
Today, let’s pray for:
A Holy Spirit directed impact upon our community and city: may the Spirit guide our actions and words to touch lives and bring forth positive change in our city and beyond (Acts 1:8).
Growth, not only numerical but spiritual: Lord, help us grow not just in numbers, but also in our faith and understanding of you (Colossians 2:6-7).
Unity and harmony in the church: grant us the grace to walk in unity and harmony, embracing our differences and focusing on our shared purpose in Christ (Ephesians 4:3-6).
The release of a powerful tide of prayer and intercession: may prayer become a powerful force in our church, unleashing breakthrough upon breakthrough (James 5:16).
A fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit upon the church: Lord, pour out a fresh anointing upon us, empowering us for greater works and deeper intimacy with you (Acts 2:1-4).
Provision and resource for the mission and as we step out in faith: God, please provide abundantly for our needs as we step out in faith to fulfill your mission, trusting in your provision every step of the way (Philippians 4:19).
