For nearly 100 years, City Church Cardiff has been a place where lives are changed, hope is restored, and people encounter the living God. Our sanctuary has been an important part of that mission—a space where thousands have worshipped, prayed, wept, rejoiced, and experienced God’s presence together

Over two decades ago, our main sanctuary underwent significant renovation. Now, as we look to the next season, it’s time to upgrade the space for future generations. We are launching Let There Be Light - with a faith goal to raise £60,000.

This appeal will enable us to:

• Open previously blocked windows to flood the sanctuary with more natural light

• Replace ageing par can stage lights with energy-efficient LED lighting, giving us greater flexibility and atmosphere for a range of services and events

• Upgrade our two existing projectors with one high-quality central projector, and install lower-level LCD screens for better visibility throughout the sanctuary

• Install modern blackout blinds, giving us the ability to choose between a bright, naturally-lit sanctuary or a theatre-style setting for events and services
