Discipleship School is a year-long journey designed to help you know God more, be grounded in His Word, grow in Christlike character, and be equipped to serve the church, Cardiff, Wales, and the Nations.
WHEN
Sunday evenings · 6-8pm
Term 1: 27 September – 29 November 2026
Term 2: 17 January – 21 March 2027
Term 3: 11 April – 6 June 2027
The first Sunday of each month is Encounter (Prayer & Worship) and Discipleship School students are expected to attend.
The structure is designed around upward discipleship (theological foundations), inward discipleship (personal development), and outward discipleship (ministry & mission)

Requirements
Age 16+ (post-GCSE)
A member of City Church, or committed to becoming a member at the next available opportunity
Willing to attend sessions regularly, participate in Encounter, serve in church life and attend a small group
Applications are required so that places can be confirmed in advance.
Ministry Experience
During the year, every student will:
Serve on a ministry team
Participate in a small group
Take part in a Welsh ministry weekend
Have an optional international mission opportunity.
Fees
£50 per term
£135 for the full year
